Buzz On!

Nico and are getting settled back in to our usual routine here at home after almost 2 weeks in the PNW visiting family and friends, staying up late and getting spoiled by everyone.

Also, Nico and Chaz are more than cousins, they're frenemies.

In case you don't know, Buzz is Nico's word for Buzz lightyear, the Toy Story movies (1, 2, and 3) and Woody. When we arrived in Seattle, Nico was a little unsure about Jason - i mean, who can blame him? But Jason persevered and went all in, buying Nico his own Woody (Buzz to Nico) doll. You could not pry that thing out of his hand for days. Needless to say between that and the pool time fun, Jason easily got top scores for best uncle category (sorry Tio).

Not to be outdone, Grandpa got Nico the upgrade version and they are now Buzz 1 and Buzz 2. As you'll see in pics from our last day with Dodo and Kiki, Buzz 2 got some serious playtime and he hasn't been given much of a break at home either. Nico really likes to watch Buzz fall down stairs, the back of the couch, chairs, etc. Poor buzz. You'll also notice some toothbrushes in the photos at the park...yes, toothbrushes. Auntie Carmen gave Nico an orthodontics tooth care pack as we were headed out of town and apparently, it was one of the coolest gifts he could have gotten. He carried those toothbrushes around all day, brushing his teeth, brushing Buzz's teeth, and trying to share them with the other kids :)

We had a great visit, got to see Svenja, enjoyed good weather, good food, fresh berries, sprinkler time, pool time, catching up with old friends and family and generally having a good time. Thanks everyone - check out our pics!
