The wall

Today we had our first instance of writing on the wall. Fortunately it was with washable markers and we used good paint when we moved in!

Now for the fun updates - last weekend Nico counted to 10 all on his own! He continues to burst out into episodes of counting. It's really funny. He also likes to sing a few favorite songs - twinkle, twinkle, little star; march, march robots (gabba); and parts of the alphabet song (which i guess is the same medley as ttls) but he does sing the words differently.

He is now making it pretty clear what he wants to wear in the morning and it's usually a red shirt, a green shirt or his purple "bebot" shirt from Mimosa. Those are on a short rotation and there isn't much else that's making it in!

This weekend we got a tour of our local Cake Love Bakery with some of the MOMS Club members. Nico saw the tray of unfrosted red velvet cupcakes and tried to swipe one each time we got  near them. Fortunately the tour came with frosting tastings and ended with a cupcake to go. He picked the RED velvet of course (again with the red obsession), but ended up eating most of my german chocolate cupcake, punk.
